How does the ZONO^™ work?

After a hard practice or game, sports equipment is often drenched with sweat. Even when it’s given time to dry, chances are, the gear is still damp the next time players put it on. Unfortunately, bacteria thrive in moist conditions. MRSA loves salt, and odors tend to build in a humid environment. All it takes is a single outbreak of MRSA, Staph, or Norovirus to decimate a team.

The ZONO^™ uses ozone and humidity in an air-tight environment to disinfect and sanitize gear, allowing multiple objects to simultaneously be disinfected and sanitized in a single 38-minute cycle. Once the cycle is complete, items are ready for immediate use. The ZONO^™ uses three cents of electricity per cycle ^•, less than one ounce of water per cycle ^••, and plugs into a standard 120-volt outlet. What can be placed in the ZONO^™?

The ZONO^™ makes it easy to sanitize helmets, shoulder pads, footwear, braces, gloves, electronics and more. It’s safe for plastics, metals, and varnished wood, and can permeate multiple layers of fabric.

When the ZONO^™ cycle is complete, items are ready for use without wiping or rinsing. The optional drying cycle dries wet and damp gear, ensuring athletes never have to practice in damp equipment.

Because many sports items are bulky, our Integrated Mobile Cart System makes loading and unloading as easy as possible. The Integrated Mobile Cart types include:
